We will advise on the composition and layout of the Inscription or verse that is suitable and appropriate, always considering the existing lettering and that space may be required on the headstone for future additional inscriptions.

We can add a new inscription to an existing headstones matching the original font and also repaint the original inscription on a headstone using specially manufactured paints.

Inscriptions are usually rendered in a Serif font such as Times New Roman or Century Schoolbook at a letter size of around 20mm for body text and 40mm for names. Small text (less than 10mm) does not render well and in some cases depending on the stone can become illegible.
