I have never had to purchase a headstone, where do I start?

The first thing you need to know is which cemetery the headstone is going into. Once you have this information, please contact us and we can help you with the rest. Remember, no question is a silly question as most people only have to go through the experience of purchasing a memorial once in their lives. Please feel comfortable in asking questions as you want to make an informed decision.

What is the typical price for a headstone?

This is a difficult question to answer as the cost will depend on the quality and colour of granite, the size and finish as well as the type of memorial you are looking for. We invite you to contact us to discuss your needs and obtain pricing.

How long does it take?

If you order a stone which is in stock you can have it in 4-6 weeks. To order and have a stone cut at the quarry the turnaround time is approximately 90 days. When you order specifically headstone (usually imported) it takes about 4 months . These times are only estimate.

What are the regulations governing the erection of a Headstone?

In Ireland, all Cemeteries, whether privately-owned or owned by a Local Authority, must grant permission before we can erect a Headstone.Some cemeteries charge a fee.

Do you cater to all nationalities?
Yes, we cater to all nationalities, religions and cultures. We work in all cemeteries and can produce headstone inscriptions in all languages.
Do you provide memorial accessories?

Yes, we provide a wide range of accessories including ceramic photos, granite and marble vases, bronze ware, statues and plaques. Our granite photo etchings are unmatched for an individual and striking addition to any memorial.

Will you assist with the Inscription on the Headstone?

Of course. We will advise as to whether gold, silver, black or white lettering is the most appropriate for the Headstone you have selected. We will also advise on the composition and layout of the Inscription or verse that is suitable and appropriate, always considering that space may be required on the Headstone for future additional Inscriptions.

Can you provide additional Inscriptions after future burials?

Yes. We recommend that one of our Stonemasons visit the Cemetery to inspect the Headstone and advise on the style and layout of the additional Inscription.
